I'm a Graduate Teaching Assistant pursuing an MFA degree in the Design department at Ohio State University where I'm learning about modern workflows for making animation more quickly and inexpensively.
I also have a masters degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where I worked on 2D/3D hybrid animation, extending the animation method used by Disney Feature Animation on "Paperman".
I've previously worked as a department technical director at DreamWorks Animation, working on pipelines and supporting rigging and animation. I've also been a technical artist for the LDS motion pictures studio, and an R&D engineering intern at DreamWorks Animation and Pixar Animation Studios.

I like animation, modern designer board games, and spending time with my wife and 3 daughters.
